Exciting FILM NEWS!!! 📽🎞
10 students from Monroe's AME Film Academy have been accepted to the prestigious Film2Future program this summer in Hollywood:
Peter Casillas
Sihong Tang
Izzy Figueroa
Vicente Rosas
Alex Basurto
Chris Barajas
Kevin Diaz
Wendy Chinchilla
Adriana Montalvan
...and accepted for a second year in a row... Stephen Preece!
These students will be making their own fully funded live-action and animated short films this summer. They will be introduced to mentors in the industry and gain access to paid internships in film and television. The biggest perk of all: Their food and transportation are paid for on set, and each student gets to keep their own MacBook Air laptop, fully decked out with every kind of editing, screenwriting, and animation software.
These are our future directors, screenwriters, producers, animators, photographers, and editors, so please give them a huge congratulations when you see them in the hallways!
CONGRATS Monroe Film Academy students! We're so proud of you!! 🎬🍿🎥
