Mission Statement

The Engineering & Design program at James Monroe High School prepares students for the high-tech jobs of the future through real-world experience, teamwork, communication, innovation, and academic rigor. The Career Tech Education focus of courses along with their academic partners will fuse the concepts of art and science to help synthesize this interdisciplinary study in a motivating and engaging way for all students.
