This special report by Spectrum News highlighted what we’re VERY proud of --- that 47% of our Monroe Fire Magnet cadets are female. This report highlights our Monroe High School Michael D. McComb Firefighter/EMS Magnet program. Our program prepares all students/cadets, upon graduation, for entry-level careers and post-secondary education in the field of Public Service. They develop physical-academic-leadership skills, understand the chain of command, learn to work together as a team, and perform community service.

CPR has been in progress for the last 7 minutes. EMT needs to arrive checks his pulse, continue CPR, transfer him to backboard, and transport to hospital.

Thanks to our Lead Teacher Mr. Ramirez, our CTE teacher Mr. Zea, and our assigned Firefighter Samantha Prado, our cadets learn each day what it takes to be successful and prepare themselves for a career in public service.
