Community Service

The Michael McComb Fire Academy offers many opportunities for Community Service.

• LAFD Service Day: Teaching Hands Only CPR and the importance of Smoke/CO2 detectors in the home at various Fire Station in the San Fernando Valley.
• LAFD Firefighter Expo: Assisting in disseminating of information to prospective firefighters at Frank Hotchkins Memorial Training Center in Downtown Los Angeles.
• First Aid Station: At home football games, ROTC Drill & Physical Competitions, Police Academy Toughest Cadet Competition.
• City Hall Events: Assisting City Hall Council Members with various event in Los Angeles.

Students are also encouraged to find Community Service Opportunities that they feel will help others in areas they feel they would find meaning.
