Parent Engagement

  • Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday 8:30 AM-10:30 AM ESL Classes for Parents & Community.
     
  • Monday & Wednesday 6:00 PM-8:30 PM ESL Classes for Parents & Community.
     
  • Thursday, November 6 at 8:30 AM Walk for Wellness in the Parent Center G2. Contact Ms. Jacki Tovar at 818-830-4314.
     
  • Friday, November 7 at 9:00 AM “Substance Use Awareness: “Xanax, Counterfeit Pills, Fentanyl and Narcan”. Contact Ms. Nancy Ramirez-Chavez at 818-830-4203.

Every School Safe:

  • Los Angeles Unified is committed to providing every student, preschool through adult, and all members of our District and school communities with a safe, healthy, welcoming and respectful learning and working environment. 
     
  • November’s focus is about De-escalation and Restorative Practices.  We will review the presentation during the November’s Coffee with the Principal.  Please join us in the presentation and hear about other things happening at Monroe.

Reminders:

  • Please obey all traffic laws around the campus, especially during drop off and dismissal.
  • There are no Food or Drink deliveries allowed to campuses. (LAUSD BUL-154111.1)
     
  • School begins promptly at 8:30 AM.  Please remind your children to be in their seats ready to work when the bell rings to avoid being marked tardy.
